Manuel Garcia-Rulfo is a Mexican actor and he is famously known for his role as Uncle Pedro in the 2013 film Bless Me, Ultima and for also starring as Arturo in Cake and he has also appeared in other movies and television series such as Six Underground, The Magnificent Seven, Touch and Goliath.
Biography and Education
Manuel Garcia-Rulfo was born on the 25th of February, 1981 in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico and he was raised in a ranch in Jalisco and it was at the ranch that he learnt how to ride a horse, Manuel’s interest in acting rose after he began to watch a lot of movies and as time went on he began to imagine himself on screen, this prompted him to begin to read acting books and biographies of many successful Mexican actors.
Right from his early days, he knew that if he really wanted to make it big in acting, he had to learn English and this prompted him to relocate to Vermont, which is where he studied English language, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo attended the Universidad del Valle de Atemajac where he majored in communications but he later got bored of the course and decided to switch to filmmaking and this prompted him to enroll at the New York Film Academy, which is where he graduated from before returning back to his home country of Mexico.
